I need help! I'm repairing a Powerbook 17"... so I replace the hard drive I go to put the keyboard/upper case/ powerbutton part back on. I plug the ribbon cord to the logic board (on the back side, it is a 1.33/1.5Ghz model) and I get no response. Eventually I unplug the ribbon cable from the logic board while the computer is plugged into AC power and it turns on, it makes the apple noises and everything. The problem is, I don't know why the keyboard/upper case/ power button part does not respond.
