Help, i have problem burning

Hai there.

I have been trying to burn for a couple of days now and I keep getting an error saying that I dont have enough space on my disc when there is plenty. I have also noticed that it no longer shows me how much space I have but how much i have used up.

20" Intel iMac 2.4 Ghz/3G Ram/320HD, Snow Leopard. PBook G4, 1.5Ghz/1.5 Ram/250 HD, Leopard 10.5.6.
What are you burning, and how big is it, and, taking a stab in the dark here, are you attempting to burn to a disc you have already burnt to before?
