Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. I have an external Acer monitor (VGA) connected to my MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz running Mac OS 10.5.8.
1. Open the Desktop Picture preference and for both the MacBook screen and external monitor,
2. Add a folder (in may case a folder I have on my desktop with images I like) and select different images.
3. DESELECT "Change Picture" option.
4. Close the window (or dialog).
After a while the image on my EXTERNAL monitor changes automatically to an Apple-supplied image. But its not supposed to change! The MacBook screen image does not change. Very frustrating.
Anyone find a similar bug in 10.5.8, and can anyone confirm if its been fixed in Snow Leopard?
