I'd like to be able to hook my PS3 up to my Macbook Pro to both use it as a screen and be able to capture video. I don't particularly care if the device can record up to 1080i/p, but at least 360p is a must (if I were to record a video, it would be for YouTube). The input could be anywhere from plain old VGA to an HDMI cable--currently, I have a component output for my PS3, so that's ideal. The capture device's interface can be an ExpressCard, USB, or FireWire.
Does anyone know of a capture device that I could look into? Or if there is a capture device that is "exclusively" for Windows, but works with other capture software, that would also work. I can't imagine that would be the case for anything though. :/
