Firewire Drive Not Mounting after "Security Update 2005-006"

I ran the latest Security Update yesterday and my external firewire drive hasn't been able to mount since. I'm able to view it via the System Profiler and Disk Utility. I tested it on my wife's 12", same problem. She ran the same update today. Unfortunately I don't have access to a machine that hasn't been updated to confirm this is the problem, it just seems very coincidental. Any help / suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Drive type: LaCie d2 Extreme
