I want to add shadow to text. Help says to use format bar but my format bar does not have shadow anything on it. Then another place says use font - same deal - I can't find any where except graphics to put shadows and I need it for text. Arrgh!

It's easy.
Go to VIEW in the TOOLBAR at the top, then select SHOW INSPECTOR.
Select the text that you want to add a shadow to.
Go to the GRAPHIC tab at the top of the Inspector. It's the button with the square and the circle.
There should be a SHADOW box below. Check it, and you will see the shadows being added to your text. Adjust it accordingly and you should be good to go.
