So, Preview fails hard at animated GIF images

How do you guys get around this?

Is there a Preview replacement that handles things better? I'm really surprised that Mac "The graphics Platform" can fail so bad at something so fundamental in web graphics. I dont think a user should have to load a web browser to view a GIF, its laborious when viewing several in sequence.
