hi everybody,
got this strange thing on one of my internal drives, that also is the time machine backup drive.
couple of months ago I deleted the whole timemachine backup folder.
and started again with backing up. ever since then, the system writes cache files onto this drive, regardless if TM is on or off.
they get written onto the the top level and I have to delete them every couple of days, as they are quite big.
see attached screenshot
does anybody know what causes this and how to get rid of it?
thanks for any help
kind regards from NZ
