I just purchased a Sony Handycam HDR-CX150; on the box it states that the enclosed software is not designed to operate in Mac OS environment. Does anyone have any experience with this trying to upload into iMovie, and iPhoto? Is there a program that needs to be downloaded in order for this to work?
Thanks,
MRP

If no software for OS X is included with the camera, the best I can suggest is to try hooking the camera to your machine and see if it mounts on the desktop. Make sure you turn the camera on first.

If it mounts, you should be able to access the memory and copy your movies and photos manually. There may be OS X software that can do it, I just don't know of any off hand. I generally move my photos manually not bothering with included software.

Regards.
