Internet troubles w/ Windows 7 Enterprise through Parallels 5

Hello. The internet for windows 7 on my macbook pro mid 2009 (which I just purchased off ebay) seems to not work. I've tried switching it from bridged, shared, and host-only, and none of them work. Only once did it work for a minute or two, but never again after that. I just found my MAC address and put that into parallels, however that seemed not to work. Thanks for reading
