I am currently using my Power Mac G5 in North America (110 volts). I plan to take my G5 with me to England. Do I simply buy a plug converter and plug it in 220 volts outlet or will it fry my G5? Will I need a power converter to convert 220 volts to 110 volts? What about the Apple monitor? Will it fry too?

Thanks

Apple products are built for world wide usage. All you need is an AC mains adapter for the wall outlet. You can purchase those direct from Apple here in the US or when you get to the UK. Many other stores also sell them: Radio Shack, Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy, etc.

Regards.

Thanks.

I even called Apple North America support and they couldn't give me an answer. They said I should call an Apple store in the UK.

Thanks again.
