Converting Appleworks docs to Pages

I've always used Appleworks. But I also have iWork 08 and am now converting all my Appleworks docs to Pages - or trying to.
However, when I try to convert a Drawing document there seems to be no equivalent in iWork 08 and I can't convert.
Am I missing something?

Yes - both my iMac and laptop have Appleworks. That's where the documents are which I'm converting.

You should be able to print from Appleworks, and press Preview button rather than Print. That would create a PDF file that will import to Pages
