Reviewing Download Progress

When downloading a number of files of the net i used to get a window pop up that showed me the progress and estimated time to finish. Unfortunately this no longer comes up and not sure how to get it back.
I am using Leopard 10.5.8.
Any help would be appreciated.

That popup window is going to be determined by what app you are using to download.

Using Safari

Thanks for the post, but i have always used Safari.
I used to get the Pop Up but dont get it any more.

I'd make sure it's not popping up behind the browser or some other window you have open.

If you have Glims or some other Safari plugin installed, they have options for controlling the Downloads window. Need to check the settings there.

Look in the file menu for Safari, in the "window" section it says "downloads". Highlight and click on it and the window will show.
I think you can set it in preferences somewhere too.

You could go to Safari > View > Customize Toolbar and add this icon;
