Hi People. Please, I need your help!!!
I Know that you LOVE Macintosh but try to leave emotions OUT!! :D

I have to decide between a PC with a Nvidia GeForce on mother board (not dedicated) --> The "basic" MacBook Pro
OR
a PC with a ATI Rateon HD4530 with 512Mb Memory dedicated!

The configuration (Processor, etc.... ) is compatible.

I have to run Graphics Softweres.

I Know that Mac is the best for graphics, but, even without a dedicated video pl.? and when the other notebook has a dedicated, with 512 Mb, as this case!!!?

(Sorry by the english!!)

Thanks!!!!!

What kind of "graphics" software are you planning to use?

If it's 2D (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) then the GPU doesn't matter much. A 13" MacBook Pro would be fine.

If it's 3D (Maya, games, etc.) then the GPU is the critical factor, and you should avoid the 13" MacBook Pro or any other system without dedicated graphics memory.

Hi.

It's not for games. But It's a 3D SW - Interior Design Software.
(Vector Pro, Artlantis, 3D Max,...)
What do you think?

Because i can't buy a bether Macintosh. It's so expansive for now. Then I will have to buy a PC for while....

I expect that the next buy I can buy a MAC!!!!!!

what is your budget for a computer ? if a mac is in your sights have you thought about Apple's financing ? you just pay a set amount each month till its paid off. Its amazing if your on a tight budget.

edit: apple financing url: Apple - Financial Services

You don't just pay the monthly installments until you pay off the price of the machine, you pay all the interest off too. If you look in the fine-print.

Example..

If you get a MBP 17" it costs A$ 2,899.00. Then the fine print says: Find out how to get this order for A$ 94.51 per month.
Total over 48 mos. A$ 4,536.49.

So you end up paying a LOT more!!
