Hey folks,
After a program like Super Duper or CCC!
I have tried both, but there never seems to be enough space (about 25 gb left) on my Mac's HD to make a disc image, I have tried restricting the size of the image/selecting key files, but nothing seems to work.

Any idea's?

Why are you making a backup on your Mac's hard drive? That is basically the same as not having a backup.

My first idea would be to suggest you get an external drive so that you have a backup in case your internal drive fails.

Also, if you have less than 15% free space left on your internal drive, you are only asking for slow downs with the spinning beach ball and other problems.

...and use Time Machine from Apple, already installed.
