I have spent hours to understand what is wrong with my macbook pro 3,1.
I am trying to reinstall back Tiger on it but no way. As soon as i the install starts I get a kernel panic.
Here is the panic log. If someone can help me out I will be very happy.

I should say that I can install Leopard and Snow Leopard very fine but I cannot go back to tiger. I am typing this on Leopard. The DVD is the one that came with the macbook and I cloned it in an USB DRIVE.
thanks

Are you erasing the HD before trying to installing it?

No the problem is that it is not booting. after the apple logo and the spin wheel I just get a kernel panic. I have tried 7 or 8 times now. I have reseted the PRAM, checked the RAM. everything seems to be correct.

If you can boot and install leopard and snow leopard no probs, but you can't boot off the tiger clone, it sounds like you have a corrupt clone!
Why don't you try booting off the tiger install disc that you cloned?
