I have a intel core solo that I would like to turn into a small web server to host a very basic busy site. I already have a 35mbps connection down and 15 up which is plenty to host this small site. At the moment the hard drive on the mac mini is completely ZEROED out. It will not run 10.6 because of the lack of ram so I have been considering throwing linux on this little guy. Anyone know anyhting about how I might go about doing that?

Both linux and OSX come with Apache web server.
Saying that, it will be fine as a server with whatever version of OSX you put on there, simply turning web sharing on in OSX will easily turn your mini into a web server
