Cant copy paste a active link to email safari

If i copy and paste a link (select all address line top of browser and paste to email body) it will not send as an active link as in click it to go to site but doing this on windows works any ideas?

It does work. It works fine.

It won't work for YOU, the sender, but it WILL work for the recipient (presuming you copied and pasted the entire URL, that is).

The reason its inactive for you is this: ever tried to copyedit a paragraph with an active URL in it? It makes me want to put a brick through the computer.

Apple designed it this way on purpose, and they were (as usual) right.

Yeppers, I'm emailing links to my Windows work machine all the time. They work just fine on the other end.
