I have an iMac with two partitions, one for Windows 7 and OSX 10.6
I need to format and reinstall OSX but was wondering if I could backup file's onto my Windows partition and format without losing the data. And just erase the OSX partition and reinstall OSX. Then restore file's from my windows partition?
When I boot from my OSX disk and go to install, it only detects my Windows partition, is this because the OSX parition is not erased properly?
