This question will be so easy for anyone but me:

I'm looking at buying a slightly used Mac, and will want to install Dreamweaver on it. Dreamweaver says it needs to be OS 10.5.7 or above — my question is whether a Mac that says it has OS 10.5 Leopard will do it, or was there an upgrade between 10.5 and 10.6 that I'm not seeing anywhere.

10.5.7 is just one of the incremental updates to 10.5 Leopard

Unlike Windows, OSX is updated on a regular basis, any version of 10.5 you get on that used mac can be updated to 10.5.8 for free using Apples Software update

Windows does get updated on a regular basis too... The difference is OS X updates fix the problem or add a new feature. Whereas Windows updates 'might' fix the problem but at the same time will cause something else to go wrong... :D
