Hi. I purchased the above webcam yesterday for my 4 year old iMac running OS X 10.4.1. The only app that will recognize it is iChat. I found this link, http://www.dynexproducts.com/p-459-dynex-desktop-web-camera.aspx which seemed (at one time) to have the correct driver that I need, but the web page is no longer in existance. Does anybody know where I can get the correct driver for my application? I contacted Dynex support, but havent' heard from them yet. Thanks for any help anybody might can give.

The Dynex brand is a Best Buy store brand. I don't know who actually makes the products, but Best Buy should provide support. If you can't find Mac OS X drivers for that web cam, return it to Best Buy, get a refund, and buy another web cam that has support for OS X. Make sure drivers are included for Tiger for whichever web cam you decide to buy.

BTW, I did a driver search for the web cam you bought and came up empty. And yes, the web page you mention is no longer working.

Regards.
