Implementation of gui in mac

Hi every one
i want to create a gui based application when the application will start my image will open instead of defaut window and on that image i will put some other button type images and want to add events on that images is it possible in mac os xcode cocoa and objective c
i am trying to learn xcode cocoa
I dont know any thing now.

The coding is is done Objective C, which the Cocoa framework uses. The GUI is built using Interface Builder, which is part of the developer tools.
