Hello guys,

As above, I downloaded Glimmerblocker to get rid of irritating ads when I am surfing the net. However, it doesn't seem to be blocking anything. Take this page that I am typing on, for example. Above the editing box, there's an ad about Apple computers, and it is flashing as I've just downloaded Glimmerblocker. Yes, it is activated, and I even reinstalled it a few times.

It still isn't working.

I am on the latest version of Safari if anybody is wondering.

Have you got Filters activated?
Glimmerblocker>Filters Tab

On mine I've got ticks against Ad-networks, Site-specific ad removal and Safari keyword expansions

Also maybe your Firewall is stopping it working.

System Prefs>Security>Firewall>Advanced - if it's not listed add Glimmerblocker to the list of 'Allow incoming connections'
