I have been thinking. And I came up with an idea.
At the moment on the forums once you make a topic title and pressent send, that title is forever set in stone. And to get a change you have to ask a mod to fix it. And a lot of us have either posted typos in their topic titles or posted titles that have no real meaning. But a lot of the users soon after go "doh I see my typo or meaningless statement" in my title. But they can not change it. They have to get a mod's help to do it.
My suggestion is to make the topic creator as they edit the first post in the topic have the option to edit the topic title too. I have seen other forums with that option and it seems to work well.
Is this idea possible on this forums? And if so would it be worth the hassle of setting it up in place?
