ok I know that windows is doomed cause of Apple and their great mac-ness, but now I'm wonderin that in the near or maybe not so near future, when enough people have switched to mac, that the viruses and all the security holes will start appearing in the macintosh and then the short-horn (or whatever the OS after long horn is called) will become pretty much safer than the Mac. do you guyz think so 2?

Nope.

If Micro$oft change their OS core to 'nix as well then it will become "pretty much safer" than it is now but I doubt it will ever be safer than any existing 'nix like Darwin.

Dont be worried about viruses...As innovative as Apple is, Steve Jobs, right now, is probably working on a back-up plan for when/if the computer viruses start to surface.......lol. I hope they dont file a lawsuit because of this post...lol!!!

Im guessing that even if Mac's suffer from virus problems, Apple will do something about it themselves, I doubt there'll be any need to download 10 different apps to stop virii and spyway (unlike some other XP users i know) :mac:
