Photoshop CS on a MAC question.

In Photoshop on my previous PC if I held down "shift" and used the pencil tool to draw a line, it would draw the line at 180 / 90 / 45 degree angles..

On my mac when I hold down "shift" to do the same thing, it doesnt give me straight lines. Anyone know a way around this problem?

holding shift does the same thing on mac, it may depend on your settings, though if shift isn't working, try shift+option.

Macman that didn't work either. Do you know how I could possibly change those settings?

odd, it works just holding shift here, are you using the latest version of photoshop cs?
are you running tiger or panther? you might try deleting photoshop's preferences.
