Do I need a modem too?

I have ATT DSL, and my wireless 2Wire Gateway died on me after a little over 3 years of use.

I'm thinking of getting the Airport Extreme Base Station, and I would like to know if I do buy it, would I need to buy a non-wireless modem as well to use with the base station?
