I want to create "worship Videos" for our church. What I want to do is add text over video (natures scenes for example) that will sync with the music so the congregation can sing along with the music and have something pleasant - inspring on the video.

I have some of these already done, I would also like to be able to change the video that is already in them with things that are more pertinent to us (like local pics)

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

So what you are saying is that you have a pre-made video of nature scenes and you would like to sync music and text (text or lyrics) to the video?

Also you want to add local areas to the video?

Are you using imovie? If so what year?

If you have a video recorder (compatible with mac) you can go out and record local areas then upload them to imovie.

Also upload the dvds of the nature scenes to imovie (you may have to convert to a different file type).

I myself only have imovie 08 but I have been doing some prowling on the internet and couldn't find anything on being able to sync audio with text.

Looks like you are going to have to add the music to the nature clips then add lyrics (text) to it while listening to it in realtime.

Adding text manually should be easy but is going to take some time.
