Hi there. A lifetime PC user here looking to buy his first Mac (MacBook Pro) pretty soon.

When hooked up to an external monitor, can you configure the screens so they act as dual screens, but set the external screen to be on top of the laptop screen?

For example, moving my mouse pointer to the top of the laptop screen, it would then show up at the bottom of the external screen. My desk is setup with a 23" widescreen monitor on a stand that lifts it up perfectly so that a 13" MBP could sit in front of it.

Thanks!

Yes you can do that. I just tested it out. You go into System Preferences, Displays and the Arrangement you put your 23" on top of the 13".
