iMac G3 screen Problem !U!

Sounds like the video is going bad. Boot from a OS CD and see if its the same. That would make it a hardware issue. Time to hunt up a new Mac. You should of croped your images there way to big.

MacMini 14.3, 8.1 & 4.1, OS 13.5, 10.14, & 10.11 & 10.6; Macbook Pro 8.2, OS 10.12.
If it isn't the video component of the logic board, then it's the cathode tube. Either way, unless you can find a replacement G3 iMac (they sell for very little, free even), or you know how to tweak a CRT display, it may be time to farewell that machine.

Pay a visit to your computer recycling centre to see if you can scavenge an iMac that's been handed in.
