Simple but brilliant idea

Found this little nugget while surfing digg (cannot remember the link).

Yeah I started doing that as well after I saw it on life hacker, thought it was great.

Excellent! Its just what I needed for my cables.

While it works for some, it's not for me.
1) My desk is solid oak and I wouldn't want to scratch it.
2) The actual desk top (not Desktop) is 3/4" thick, with at least a 5/8" radius. That would require a large clip, making the size of the "hole" in the levers large as well.
3) The desk is a roll top, and thus the edge is only in front!
4) It's a computer desk. The designer thought of that. (cables)

That's bloody amazing. If I actually had a desk, I'd be sure to do that with it.
