I rarely use my iMac anymore since I've had my MacBook and am considering selling it. However, my iMac has Windows running on the partitioned drive. How do I get rid of this drive and Windows XP?

I researched the Disk Utility and and clicked on the drive that has Windows and there was an Erase option. Will erasing that drive automatically make it a part of the drive that has OS X or do I need to take an extra step after that to make this happen?

Assuming you used Bootcamp Assistant to create the partition, use Bootcamp Assistant to delete the partition.

Yes.

Here is the manual online. Or open it up from the first screen of BCA on your computer. Read the section "Removing Windows from Your Computer".

I tried to leave you some good feedback for your reputation but Mac-Forums said that I must "spread some reputation around" first. :(
