airport and router problems

hello everyone
im here with a big problem and hopefully you guys can help me out

aiport on my iMac makes my router lose the connection to internet specially when im navigating using safari

other computers can connect and i dont have these kind of issues

when i plug the ethernet cable to the iMac it never makes my router disconnect
so im pretty sure the problem is caused by airport because it always does the same when i use wireless conection

please help!

Are you saying that once your imac knocks out your internet none of your other computers can get online either?

Does your router have a log function? That would be the first place to look.

yeah my imac disconnects my router for several seconds or even minutes

im not sure if it has log function where can i see it?

im using 2wire router and the broadbandlink light starts blinking in orange when my imac disconnects it when it should be on green...

Unfortunately since 2wire is provided by your broadband provider and depending on your provider they may or may not give you access to the diagnostics. You'll have to call your ISP and ask if you can get to the diagnostic information of the 2wire.

Check your iMac Console and see if anything pops there cmd-space type in console in spotlight.
