Using an ipod touch as a bluetooth keyboard on my macbook pro

Hey guys, this is a bit of a weird one, but basically i'm waiting for my apple store to get a part in in order to fix my keyboard on my mbp. In the mean time i'd really like to use my ipod touch as a keyboard instead of clicking the onscreen keyboard with the trackpad. is that possible? it has to be bluetooth, my ipod can't access the same wifi network as the mbp is on.
i know it's a long shot, but it would be great if anybody has any ideas.
