External usb modem

Mid 2010 MBP 13, 8 gig mem, 2 int disks 500gig SSD, 1Tb SSHD . 2010 iMac, 8 gig, 2 Tb SSHD. iMac M1
I want to be able to send the occasional fax using my new iMac. Can anyone tell me if there is an external USB or ethernet modem that I can get please?

Failing that has anyone any idea as to how I can send faxes over ADSL?

I have found one on Amazon, but only after a load of searching. They don't make it easy do they?

I wouldn't even think about using an external USB modem for sending a fax from a DSL connection. There are a myriad of fax services that you can use thru the net without having to actually send from a hardware modem.
