I got a mac, then installed VMware 3.0 with win7. It doesn't run my architectural 3D programs that well, and i want to use bootcamp instead. Thing is, the software i use is under a one year license, and i don't think it has a license transfer utility. It would be real pain in the *** to have to aquire a new license for each program if i install a new bootcamp partition.

That's why i want to know if you can simply make a bootcamp partition from a VM.

No. You can go the other way but can't create a bootcamp partition from a virtual machine. You can, however, create a virtual machine from a bootcamp partition.

Lots of posts and threads on this. You should read the stickies on this forum for more details.
