iPad backup with iTunes issue

Mac, Apple TV, iPod, iPad
HI

Been trying to sync iPad but getting error with backup every time for 3 days

Sync cable was plugged into USB hub
When I connected it directly to the computer - worked fine

Computer = Windows Vista 64bit Ultimate
