How to re-name folders!

how to re-name folders on the desktop?

highlight it, press return/enter, type the new name, press enter

You can also click once on it to highlight, then click once on the name and it will let you rename it.

Do you mean Shift+Return/Enter? thats the way it works for me.

It works either way, although I have always used just Enter

thanks lot.

It sounds easy and thats why I couldnt understand why it wasnt working with Mac- as it was working with my WS in the past!

You can also click three times on the file, and change that way your file name!
