TV to Air Port Extreme

I just found out that my TV has a lan port. I hooked up my Air Port Extreme to the TV through the lan port, but it doesn't seem to be working. I can't find anything about hooking up an Air Port base station to a TV. Any words of wisdom out there?

Open the Owner's Manual for your TV and read the section on what that lan port is capable of.

If you've lost it, practically every manufacturer has them online.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. The owners manual is in Japanese and I tried to figure it out. It didn't occur to me that I could probably find it on line in English.
