Ugh, yeah, I disconnected one of my Dell desktop computer's monitors and brought it down to use it as a dual-monitor (love it).

Recently, I realized I needed something from my desktop and had to bring the monitor up. Is it possible to just bring my MBP Alumn Unibody and use that as my Dell desktop's monitor?

Thanks,
Mark

Your MBP has no video input port, only video out. There is software that will allow this between two Macs. I found this that might work for you but I'm not sure if it applies both ways. LINK

Thanks, but I have XP on my desktop and judging from the name of the product, I may just be incompatible :)( that's what they all told me :()

also, it doesn't say anything about working for Macs, which would be a bummer :(

Thanks though!

Regards,
Mark
