multitasking,Opens doors to other Apps that Apple doesn't approve of for one reason or another, Customizing...etc list goes on and on.

10.3 could run as is on the ipad. Heck it runs on my 333mhz imac just fine so an ipad would be easy. But a streamlined SL would rock.

That would rock. I think it will be interesting to see what the Hackers/Modders can do with the iPad.

Actually there are means to back door the app store with a jailbroken iPhone/touch which has became a little more difficult of late. Like everyone has said before me though. The idea of Jailbreaking the iPad wouldnt be for piracy. Apps like mPlayer (an app that allows you to play .avi files) and the ability to access the root of the iPad which just really let this little beast of machine do what we want it to.

Seriously no .avi yet on our apple products?!?! Grrrr

Agreed 100% I really wish this forum would open there eyes to concept of jailbreaking, I understand some are concerned about the legality of it, but let's face it that's a gray area at best. Steve Jobs doesn't have to endorse something to make it ok.
