compress to multiple files

Hi. I am using unrarx and unarchiver but I think they are all just decompressor. I am looking for a software that compresses big files into multiple files. For example, I have here a 6gb of file. I cannot transfer it to my fat32 usb to transfer it to my friend's windows pc. So I am looking for a software to compress it and have 6 split compressed size files, 1 gig each, of the original file. Thanks..
