I need help with mail icons lost

Hello people,
I have in my mailboxes lost the icon get mail, The new messages ect have gone.

I can use alternatives, but I am used to these.
I have tried view and window options, and cannot seem to rectify this problem.

I dont think this was as a result of anything I did, ie hit a command by accident

I am running 10.6.2. I am downloading 10.6.3 and this may reset mail icons, don't know.


Could someone help me?

No, it won't "reset" the icons.

Of course, I don't really have any idea yet of what you're talking about, so there's that.

When you say "icons" do you mean the icons at the top of the title bar in the Mail application, or do you mean the icons for the mailboxes on the left side panel of the application? Or are you talking about something else?

Can you attach a screenshot (or upload one somewhere) to help us understand what you mean?

At the very top of the mailboxes I had a icon with get mail in it, central at top, on left.

I dont know how to get screen shots. but I will look.

So goto Mail>View>Customise ToolBar

Should work for you. Then just add the buttons you want
