PC Tools' iAntiVirus - any good?

A friend sent me info on PC Tools' "iAntiVirus" for Macs. Does anyone use it and/or have any information to share on it? It looks like "AVG for Macs" since it has both a free version and one that's around $30 a year. I would use the free version since I don't need business, 24/7 support and phone support. I'll appreciate any info. TIA.

Do you have windows running on your Mac?

As it stands there is no viri out there to affect your Mac. Have a read of The Official Mac Antivirus and Firewall FAQ.
It was written a while ago but still pertains today. You wont get one single member telling you to use a AV for your Mac.
No need and a HUGE resource hog ....

No, I'm not running Windows. The only MS program I run is MS Office for Mac 2008.

I agree with the "never use antivirus software on OS X". Using it there is all bad with no good coming from it. But on a windows partition through boocamp of the other hand, treat that as you would a windows PC.
