What's the point of such an abomination ? If it had a decent processor in it, and ran OS X, then ok.. but it can't be running a powerhouse OS or anything.

It's a netbook in a MacBook-like skin. The ports, RAM, CPU are essentially Dell Mini 9 fare. I wonder if it runs Linux, or some other OS.

Heck, the closest clone they could call it to would be an older Macbook Air @1.6GHz, and even at that, the atom can't compete... Attempting to call an atom based computer a clone of a MBP is just plain silly.

We are all just a somewhat interesting footnote, wedged between ice ages. There isn't really a point at all.

Well if you feel like that then there is no point in living at all. We might as well just all kill ourselves.

Doug

i was repeating the question, not asking one. the point is that someone is going to make money on it. that is the only reason behind it. cheap is cheap, and everything else in the world has been nocked off by china. it was certainly bound to happen. my question is why is this such a surprise to anyone??
