At least you all have the option to get your iPhones officially unlocked.

Yes but that unlocking comes at a cost. We have to pay the full cost for an iphone upfront if we get it from the Apple store/online. We do not have the option of pay $99 now and the rest each month with our phone bill.

Be happy, at least you have an arrival date for the iPad unlike the Kiwi's who are still waiting.
Looks as if late April trips across the ditch to Aussie for iPads will be on the cards.
