Sorry but that would be a big NO ! Search thru the threads here and you will find a great # of posts asking how to remove them after an attempt. Since the DVD player in your iMac is a slot loader your best bet is to purchase / borrow and external device and import it that way.

You can grab an external tray loading drive for $30-$60. That'd be the way to go.

There are very few slot loading drives that are capable of handling mini-discs.
