iCal/ iPhone won't sync

Your Mac's Specs
MacBook Pro
I recently bought a MacBook Pro and transferred my old computer's hard drive (MacBook) onto the MacBook Pro and the iCal/ iPhone aren't syncing at all. Any thoughts/ ideas?
