Iphone wont charge!!!!

well my iphone battery was low and i was talking to my girl and couldnt get off the phone so i plugged in the charger and continued talking. well the next day my phone was still on the charger and it was dead all the way showing the conect to charger sign.

So now i cant get it to charge at all i cant get it to sync with itunes. ive tried everything.

i ended up getting a new phone but i really need all my stuff off of the old one. what can i do?

Have you tried plugging the usb into your computer and let stay just to rule out your
charger going bad.

also have you tried doing hard resets? Try holding down the power button for a while, and also holding down the power button and home button together for a while. I had that happen once and this fixed it.
