I am looking fro software that will allow me to convert DVD's (movies) and allow me to burn them to a DVD for play on a player. Suggestions?

Unfortunately, you're dabbling into the area that can't be discussed as copying movies requires getting around encryption on DVDs which is a taboo topic here as they follow US law for forum rules...
